I believe every dancer, like every choreographer, performer or live theater artist knows the ephemeral nature of their art, which disappears the moment it manifests itself. For this reason, dance, more than any other form of human expression, celebrates the unrepeatability of the “here and now” and reminds us of the importance not only of being but of being present. With this awareness, I feel every act of creation becomes a dialectical process that oscillates between impression, expression, opportunity for meeting and energy recycling between creators, performers and audience. I believe that for every artist, exercising a multidisciplinary approach, in which the arts intertwine and support each other, allows us to deepen our relationship with the world and to discover or recognize ourselves with eyes and senses external to ourselves.

Under this lens, things never reach a point of stasis, but continue to move, even when we talk about a "final product". The very moment of the performance which will never be the same, despite the practice and the (sometimes) obsessive repetition, is a meeting of presences in which personal and collective imagination are trained, nourished and sometimes provoked. I believe our main responsibility lies in this: to nourish the imagination, to make it breathe, taking care of the network of meanings and its emotional, poetic and political complexity, without ever losing the sense of openness and curiosity of when we were children.
