"When a mosaic is broken, by mistake or by choice, its pieces are scattered all over the place. Like gr ains of sand, once part of the same stone, the pieces move away from their place of origin, becoming the smallest part of the original mosaic, deprived of its identity. We find ourselves in front of a puzzle to be reassembled, whose polychrome pieces hint at a lost truth. But is the truth proposed by the original mosaic really the only possible truth? What if every single piece retains in itself its own self sufficient and malleable truth as it is sandy? Here are outlined in front of us several ways to recompose the mosaic. The first way is to recompose the original image, aware of the fact that, despite the efforts, the origin has been corrupted and may present imperfections. The second is a closed road, the path of acceptance for those who find themselves in front of the shattered work do not act but contemplate the shapeless mass in front of them. The third way, on the other hand, is the one of children, who do not have the ambition to reconstruct the original image and marvel at each piece to start a game ..." EREMITES, Mirko Ingrao's latest work inspired by the dance show by Guido Markowitz “BRAHMS_Glaube Liebe Hoffnung” wants to be the 'non choice' among the three aforementioned roads, the attempt at a new kaleidoscopic mosaic. The audio visual work that breaks the original show into numerous pieces, re observes and recomposes the characters and relationships, atmospheres and music, images and symbols, gestures and dance in a cinematic key ... In a playful process, which involves all the dancers of the original cast, the pieces of the mosaic come out of the theater to inhabit the city of Pforzheim, the ShmuckMuseum, the Black Forest and even the Desert of Saudi Arabia. The film, divided into chapters, also takes the opportunity to witness the pandemic period, which for several months transformed theaters into silent and immobile places. Scenes, stages and audiences deprived of that mutual nourishment that expands our imagination, are now reconfirmed as the ideal places to quench the thirst of parched souls and minds. The dancers are the real Hermits (literally inhabitants of the desert) of this colorful mosaic and will lead you to the discovery of those deserts, which do not need mountains of sand to be defined as such.
