It's not linear. It jumps, crawls, runs, and walks from one point to another, through space and time. Its speed varies: sometimes it lingers for hours on a specific memory, other times it connects people, places, sounds, and smells that have nothing to do with each other. Sometimes we fear losing it, this muse we call memory. There are those who confront it, transforming it into words, drawings, or photographs, and there are those who leave it behind. There are also those who lend it a hand, and those who evoke it by looking at the scars on their skin, stitching together small fragments of life and future desires that have not yet left their mark. “Through Her Sunken Dream” is a small glimpse into our crucial relationship with memory, the ability to remember and reassemble a map or a mosaic on which to move.
Dagegen kleidet Mirko Ingrao in „Through her sunken dream“ Erinnerungen in einen Mantel. Leichtfüßig verhüllt oder offenbart sie die Tänzerin.
